IndustriAll Europe has written to its French affiliates to express full support for the pensions' protests stating that 

• It is completely unacceptable that the French government should try to impose proposals to reform the pension system that would lead to raising the legal age for decent pensions or lowering the level of pensions. 

• It is completely unacceptable that the French government should act with the greatest disregard for trade union organisations, which represent French workers.

• We support demands for a system that guarantees decent pensions at a retirement age that is compatible with a healthy life expectancy and that takes the harshness and difficulties of working conditions into account. 

These are also industriAll Europe's demands for all of Europe!
